ABOUT DSS
Drone Safety Services (DSS) was founded to help the civil drone community come to terms with generic safety aspects relating to civil drones. The advice provided on this website is aimed at operators of Commercial, Recreational and / or Experimental drones.
The idea to launch this website followed the publication of The Drone Safety Handbook in February 2019. The Handbook catalogs a diverse spectrum of drone-specific safety aspects, and the website expands on this by providing updates to the content of the Handbook, as well as new trends in drone safety.
